Backend Java Developer who likes complex and mission-critical systems

Our unit is cross-functional, and is organized around agile, autonomous teams consisting of business analysts, interaction designers, testers and developers.

We are currently looking for back-end or full-stack developers with good knowledge about Java, and possibly also some interest or knowledge about Javascript (both frontend and backend).

Skills & requirements

Experience in building modern, distributed systems using microservices, REST/JSON and solid engineering practices. Knowledge of a modern, Open Source Java stack is required, Javascript-knowledge is an added bonus.

  • Good knowledge of Java, REST/JSON and modern containerless Java frameworks (Dropwizard, Spring Boot, etc.).
  • Experience in building reliable distributed systems is a clear benefit, but not required.
  • Some experience in linux and Docker is beneficial.
  • Interest and ability in using Node on the backend is beneficial, but not required.
  • A drive to write solid, high-quality and low-maintenance code
  • Curiosity, an open mind and willingness to both learn from others and share knowledge
